How to save gas for automobiles If everyone else feels the squeeze on his pocket buying gasoline, why shouldn't you? And particularly if gas prices rise every now and then-sure, why wouldn't you look for ways of saving on your gas bill. Well, here are a few ways in which you could save on gas: Increase your gas mileage through your tires. Fill them up with nitrogen just as auto racers do and you can do this at a nominal cost of $3-$5. The principle behind this is that when you fill your tires with this gas, you eliminate all other gases contained in the atmosphere. Air corrodes aluminium and steel wheels, introducing leaks through valve stems, wheel flanges and around the tire beads.
